Welcome to my digital teaching portfolio.
This site is structured in a short text about me (refering to my official profile at UiT), my teaching philosopy, what I have already taught (teaching experience), reciprocal feedback on supervision of colleagues (peer-audit), as well as my little teaching project: flipped classroom, done in Spring 2015 (PSY-2027).
I further provide a very personal reflection on teaching and the pedagogic course in teaching in higher edcuation I attended autumn 2014 and spring 2015. I very much like discussions about improving teaching esp the advantages but also limits of modern gadgets in teaching (e.g. kahoot). There is no simple answer, context is central and flexibility required.
Still, as Torstein Låg nicely put it (said in my own words), we can get better, and we should want to become better. Indeed, I fully agree, I can get better in teaching but crucially, for you as my students and you as my colleagues: I also want to become better. Feedback and suggestions always welcome!
Thus, the course (see pdf’s) was just the start along the journey of academic teaching and training the next generation of researchers.
