Colleague supervising

Christer Pursiainen contributed to, and was an object of, a colleague supervision organised in the context of the UiT pedagogic course in 2015/2016.

All in all, the colleague supervision proved to be a useful exercise, enabling one to look at a colleague’s — representing a different discipline — teaching methods and reflecting to them with regard to one’s own experience, and the other way round. While no specific new and revolutionary openings are to be expected from this experience, in short term it produced some good notions, as been described in the report. In longer term, in terms of ‘slow learning’, it opens one’s mind to  develop new values especially when it comes to involve the students to the topic and to  become a more interactive teacher.
